The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time world boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making huge paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really happening.
